December 2022

2022 brought a number of new studies, including one that assessed changes in maternal mental health during pregnancy in the COVID-19 pandemic and another investigating the use of Tylenol during pregnancy.

February 2024

2023 had the team host a number of researchers discussing how using OBS resources has helped advance different fields at the Ontario Birth Study Science Forum.

February 2025

In 2024, the team continued to build on past progress, engage more with researchers and try to establish a comprehensive resource for those interested in pregnancy and early childhood development.

February 2026

Through 2025 the team supported new research into placental health and maternal mood during pregnancy. We introduce two long-term team members and address some questions we’ve received regarding child saliva collection and the Ages and Stages Questionnaire.
